On April 15 and 16, aviation history blasts out of the museums and into the skies as the Commemorative Air Force thunders into West Houston, offering the public a rare chance to put their hands on history and vintage US military aviation. Back by popular demand, the CAF Houston Wing Warbird Weekend will feature a wide variety of historic military aircraft, memorabilia displays, living history experiences, music, food, and fun!
Visiting the event from the CAF Gulf Coast Wing will be Conroe’s own Navy JRB expeditor Little Raider, on which the whole family can fly. The public is invited to bring the family for on-board tours with the aircraft crews, or to take the ultimate Living History Flight Experience in a WWII vintage warbird. Flights in the JRB start at $100, or take the co-pilot seat for just $200! Flights are available throughout the day; tours take place during non-flying times.
